Definitions
“We”, “the Company” and “ALS Aviation” means ALS Aviation Legal Safety Consultancy Ltd, registered in the Republic of Cyprus at 11 A Rodou Street, Aglandjia Nicosia, 2103 and operating under the registration number HE 384161P and VAT No: 10384161P.
“You” means the applicant or the user of the Site (if registering for or using the Site as an individual) or the business the applicant or the user is employed by or represents (if registering for or using the Site as a business).
Application
These standard terms and conditions apply to all training courses, legal, consultancy and any other services provided and shall apply in place of and prevail over any other terms, or conditions referred to or contained in correspondence or elsewhere or implied by any previous course of dealing between the parties unless specifically agreed to in writing by a director of the Company.

These Terms & Conditions govern the relationship between you and ALS Aviation Legal Safety Consultancy Ltd (ALS Aviation).
By visiting, browsing, using or registering on the ALS Aviation website, you (in your individual capacity or the business, company or organisation you represent), agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. By accessing, using the website, registering on the website for any training course or other services provided by ALS Aviation, you agree to accept and abide by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, please refrain from using the website. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to and use of the website at any time if you breach any of these terms and conditions.
ALS Aviation Legal Safety Consultants Ltd (ALS Aviation) reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions at any time without notice. Using and continuing to use the site and any material associated with our site constitutes agreement to adhere to all of the terms and conditions set forth herein. Please do not use this website if you do not wish to be bound by our Terms and Conditions.
Your Obligations when Accessing the Website
This site is controlled by ALS Aviation from its offices within the Republic of Cyprus and this site and all material contained herein may not be exported or used in any way in violation of the laws and regulations of the Republic of Cyprus. ALS Aviation does not represent or warrant that such material is appropriate or available for use outside the Republic of Cyprus. Access to the site from outside the Republic of Cyprus shall be under your individual responsibility to adhere to all local laws.
You may only view and use the website for lawful and proper purpose and in accordance with these terms and conditions. Subject to these terms and conditions you have a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited right to access and use this site and the materials provided thereon. The names, trademarks, service marks, and logos of ALS Aviation shall not be used in any advertising, publicity, or otherwise, to indicate ALS Aviation sponsorship or affiliation with any product or service, without our prior written permission.
Responsibility for making all the necessary arrangements for you to have access to the website rests with you. Responsibility for making sure that all users who have access to the website through your internet connection are aware of and comply with these terms and conditions also rests with you.
Any passwords or user identification code provided to you must be treated as confidential and shall not be disclosed to any third party. We reserve the right to disable any password or user identification code in the event that we believe that any of these provisions have been breached.
You agree that the operation of the site will not be interrupted or interfered with in any way by you. More specifically, you agree that you will not, inter alia:

ALS Aviation web site is protected under the copyright laws of the Republic of Cyprus and international copyright laws. Course material (any and all materials, printed or electronic, that contains the content delivered during the training courses), individual articles, content, and other elements are copyrighted works. You agree to be bound by and follow all additional copyright notices or restrictions contained herein.
Training Content and intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights including copyright shall vest in and remain the absolute property of ALS Aviation. ALS Aviation is the owner of, and retains all rights, title and interest in any all course materials, and in any and all other materials, including documentation, data, technical information and know-how provided to the participants by ALS Aviation. No permission is given for all or any of its training content to be copied, shared, used or applied in any form for other training, promotional or commercial purposes.
All confidential or business sensitive information by ALS Aviation trainers will remain confidential and all confidential or business sensitive information provided by ALS Aviation’s customers or course participants will remain confidential.
ALS Aviation copyright, trademarks, logos, business name, domain name, course content and all other intellectual property rights may not be used without our prior written consent. More specifically, you may not:
- Copy, reproduce, modify, alter, publish, broadcast, distribute, post, sell, transfer or transmit, in any form or by any means, any material on the website or any software whether in whole or in part, nor use any material to create any derivative, incidental or ‘spin-off’ work
- Create a database in electronic or any other form by downloading or storing any content, whether in whole or in part
- Modify any material or copies of any materials you have printed or downloaded in any way
- Remove any copyright and trademark notices from any copies made of any content
Any material for which prior written approval has been given for use, must be always include all copyright and trademark notices.
ALS Aviation copyright, trademarks, logos, business name, domain name, and all other intellectual property rights may not be used in any manner that is likely to cause confusion or in any manner that discredits or brings to disrepute ALS Aviation.
Our Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law all representations, terms, warranties, conditions and commitments not expressly set out in these terms and conditions are hereby excluded.
Use of the website is voluntary and at your own risk. ALS Aviation excludes all responsibility for any loss or damage suffered as a result of using the website. Specifically, we shall not be liable for any loss of profits, earnings, goodwill or revenue, loss or corruption of data; or any indirect, special or consequential loss or damage.
ALS Aviation excludes any liability for any loss or damage caused by any viruses or other technologically harmful material that may infect your computer equipment, computer programs, data or other proprietary material due to your use of the website or to your downloading of any material posted on it, or on any website linked to it. We have no control over any links to other sites and resources which we provide on our website for informative purposes and exclude all liability for any damage or loss that may arise from use of those links and sites.
ALS Aviation excludes any and all liability for damages as a result of your failure or the failure of your organization or representative to provide information in connection with these terms and conditions.
ALS Aviation excludes any and all and liability for damages as a result of a participant or his/her organisation to obtain the necessary visa or other documentation (if required) in due time.
Force Majeure
ALS Aviation excludes any and all liability for failure to fulfil its obligations under these terms and conditions if such failure is due to reason of circumstances beyond its reasonable control , including, but limited to government interference, direction or restriction, war or civil disorders, strikes, blockade, riots, acts of natures, illness, disasters, diseases, epidemics, terrorist actions, or other emergencies.

ALS Aviation makes every effort to present accurate information on this site. ALS Aviation makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the accuracy and completeness of any service provided, the materials or the reliability of any advice, opinion, statement or other information, content, products displayed or distributed through the site. This site, the information and materials on the site, and the software made available on the site, are provided “as is” and “as available” without any representation or warranty, express or implied, of any kind, including, but not limited to, warranties of merchantability, non-infringement, or fitness for any particular purpose. Limitation of Damages
ALS Aviation, its directors, employees, officers, agents or affiliates shall not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of, or the inability to use, the content, materials, any services and functions of this site or any linked web site, including, but not limited to, direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, even if ALS Aviation is expressly advised of the possibility of such damages. In any event, our aggregate liability shall not exceed the total fees paid by you.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ALS Aviation and its parent, subsidiaries, its directors, employees, officers, agents and affiliates from any claim or demand and against all losses, expenses, damages and costs, including reasonable legal fees, due to or arising out of any violation or breach of these Terms and Conditions, or the failure to fulfil any obligations relating to your account.
Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. You irrevocably agree, for the sole benefit of the Company that, subject as provided below, the courts of the Republic of Cyprus, after first attempting to settle the dispute by arbitration or mediation, shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, legal action, proceedings or claim arising out of or in connection with this agreement or its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual claims). The district court with jurisdiction is the court located in the district where the cause of action arose or where the defendant(s) reside. You further agree to waive waive any objection to proceedings in such courts on the grounds of venue or on the grounds that the proceedings have been brought in an inconvenient forum.
Entirety
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and ALS Aviation. In accordance with the Cyprus Limitation of Actionable Rights Law 66 (I) of 2012 (Limitation Law) which regulates limitation periods applicable to civil and commercial claim, a limitation period of six years applies to actionable rights in contract. However, for proceedings concerning a contract or a quasi-contract relating to an agreed or reasonable remuneration of an independent professional, the limitation period is three years from the day of completion of the cause of action. If for any reason, a court of competent jurisdiction finds any provision of the agreement, or portion thereof, to be unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible to effect the intent of the agreement or if necessary be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remainder of this agreement.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR BOOKING A TRAINING COURSE
Booking a course can be made online, or by completing the relevant registration form. Confirmation of your booking request will follow in the form of an email from ALS Aviation. All booking requests are provisional pending confirmation of payment being received by the ALS Aviation.
Invoices and Payment
All payments must be made prior to the commencement of the training course or service provided, at which time the provisional booking will be confirmed. In the event that outstanding payment is not received prior to the course commencement or services provided, your place on the course may be cancelled or re-allocated to another course participant and the services may be cancelled.
An invoice will be generated and provided to the address indicated during the online registration process. Payment shall be made according to the specifications of the invoice. Payment must be made in euro, on-line or by bank transfer into the following bank account in the Republic of Cyprus:

The following data shall be indicated on the bank transfer:
- Invoice number
- Name and Organisation of the Participant
- Training Course Title and Location
- Course Date
Payment shall be made at least 14 days before the scheduled start date of the training course or agreed date of providing any of our services. All payments are considered made when the amount is credited on the bank account of ALS Aviation. If the payment is not received in time, you will be charged collection fees and interest.
All fees on our website are current at the time of publishing. However, ALS Aviation reserves the right to make any changes. Note also that the training courses are subject to price indexation yearly.
We also reserve the right to refuse admission if payment has not been received prior to attending the course. Kindly note that the fees paid for a training course include materials, refreshments and lunch. All other meals, accommodation, transportation and visa payments (If required) are not included in the course fee unless otherwise stated.
Invitation Letters for Visa Purposes
It is your responsibility to clarify if you in need a VISA to enter the country where the training course is delivered and to check with the Embassy the procedure and duration of the visa application. If needed, ALS Aviation, will, upon receiving the request and the full course fee, provide you with an invitation letter for the purposes of obtaining the visa. If you need a visa for entry in the country where the training course is held, an invitation letter from ALS Aviation can be requested to info@alsaviation.com. Requests shall contain the following particulars:
- Training course title and course date;
- Your full name, date and place of birth, organisation and job title;
- Number, date and place of issue, expiry date of your passport;
- Date of arrival in and departure from the country where the training course is delivered;
- Your mailing address and fax number (if any);
- Evidence of payment of the course fee
ALS Aviation will send you the invitation letter subject to the above-mentioned requirements, and you have the responsibility to submit the invitation letter to the Embassy concerned.
Payment and the request for an invitation letter must be made as early as possible as the Embassy may take time to issue the VISA. In the event that you require the invitation letter to be sent by courier, you have the responsibility for arranging the pickup, delivery and making the necessary payment. ALS Aviation shall be informed accordingly and pick-up times shall be agreed with ALS Aviation in advance. In the event of cancellation, substitution or course transfer either by yourself or by ALS Aviation, ALS Aviation will inform the Embassy concerned accordingly. In the event of substitution or course transfer, an invitation letter will be issued for the new participant upon request, and the originally-issued letter will be revoked. In the event that ALS Aviation cancels a training course and offers an alternative course date, and you accept the new course date, ALS Aviation will provide you with a new invitation letter upon request.
Cancellations
Cancellations must be received in writing by ALS Aviation. The cancellation notice shall include full details including, invoice number, name and organisation of participant, training course, title and training course date. Upon receipt of the notice of cancellation in writing, ALS Aviation will send you confirmation of the cancellation and cancellations shall be considered valid only if a confirmation is issued by ALS aviation. It is your responsibility to monitor if the cancellation notice is received by ALS Aviation.
In the event that you cancel your booking or registration for a training course or for legal, consultancy or other services requested, the following charges will apply:
Over 4 weeks prior to commencement: No charge
2 – 4 weeks prior to commencement: 50% of the course fee
Less than 2 weeks prior to commencement: 100% of the course fee
ALS Aviation reserves the right to cancel its courses at any time. In the event of such a cancellation, registered participants will be notified and all monies paid will be refunded.
Course Transfer
In the event that you, subsequent to registering for a training course and paying the requisite course fee, wish to attend the same training course on another course date, you may transfer your seat by requesting a course transfer in writing to ALS Aviation. A course transfer will only be valid once you have received confirmation from ALS Aviation to attend the training course on the alternative requested dates. Transfer is only possible if there are seats available on for the alternative requested dates.
Participant Substitution
In the event that you will not be able to attend a course that you have registered and paid for, a colleague of yours may be substituted once you have provided notice in writing of the intended substitution and details of the participant.
Programme Content, Dates & Venues
All details regarding course content, trainers, dates and venues are accurate at the time of publishing, however, ALS Aviation reserves the right to make any changes, alterations or cancellations without incurring any liability.
Unenforceability
If any provision is held by a court or other competent authority to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, the validity of the other provisions hereof (including the remainder of the provision in question) shall not be affected.
Further Conditions
Any additional conditions we may issue which accompany or are attached to these terms of business are deemed incorporated herein. In the event of any conflict, the provisions of such additional conditions shall prevail.
